The price of gold in the country’s market has been further reduced in a span of one day. The new price has been reduced by Tk 2,139 for the best quality or 22 carat gold (11.664 grams). In this, the price of good quality gold has increased to 1 lakh 14 thousand 151 taka. The new prices will be effective from 4.50pm on Wednesday (April 24).

It is said that the price of acid gold has decreased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been fixed considering the overall situation.
According to the new price, the price of 22 carat gold per load (11.664 grams) will be 1 lakh 14 thousand 190 taka. Apart from this, 1 lakh 9 thousand taka per 21 carat gold, 93 thousand 429 taka per 18 carat gold and 75 thousand 209 taka per traditional method gold have been fixed.
Earlier on Tuesday (April 23), Bajus set the price of 22 carat gold at Tk 1,16,290 after reducing the price by Tk 3,138 in two days. Apart from this, the price of gold was fixed at 1 lakh 10 thousand 995 taka per 21 carat, 95 thousand 143 taka per 18 carat and 76 thousand 586 taka per traditional method. Which came into effect from 4 pm that day.
Earlier, on April 21, Bajus had raised the price of 22 carat gold by 630 taka to 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka. Apart from this, the price of gold was fixed at Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 4 per 21 carat, Tk 97 thousand 709 per 18 carat and Tk 78 thousand 662 per traditional method, which was effective from 3.30 pm on that day.
Apart from this, on April 20, Bajus had reduced the price of the best quality 22 carat gold by 840 taka to 1 lakh 18 thousand 798 taka. And 1 lakh 13 thousand 397 taka per load of 21 carat, 97 thousand 196 taka per load of 18 carat and 78 thousand 242 taka per load of traditional method were fixed. Which was effective from 3.30 pm that day.
