Panchagarh truck-tractor collision, 2 including women killed

Two people were killed in a collision between a truck and a tractor in Boda upazila of Panchagarh. Four others were injured in the incident. The accident took place in Khadopara area of ​​Boda Municipality on Wednesday (April 24) morning.

The deceased are – tractor driver Zahid (26) and Mocha. Nurjahan (55). Among them, Zahid Bodar is the son of Manik of Majhgram and Nurjahan is the daughter of Jayatullah Munsi of Sardarpara of the same upazila.

Police and locals said that the truck was heading towards Debiganj from Boda Upazila. The collision took place while passing the tractor coming from the opposite direction. Tractor driver Zahid and pedestrian Nurjahan died on the spot. At that time, four people including truck and tractor occupants were seriously injured and they were rescued and taken to Boda Hospital. If the condition there is critical, two have been sent to Rangpur and one to Thakurgaon Hospital.

Boda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mozammel Haque said that two people were killed in the truck-tractor collision accident in the morning. Appropriate legal action is under process in this incident.
