Her bigoted husband Azizur Rahman Vidyut (44) tried to kill Irene Parveen (42), an assistant teacher of Kumirgowalia Government Primary School in Habibullahnagar Union of Shahjadpur Upazila of Sirajganj, by strangling her throat and cutting her throat with a fish knife for not paying a loan of Tk 7 lakh from the bank. In addition, for almost 1 month, 5-year-old daughter Abida Anjum has been locked in the house of sister Nachima Parveen Bina (47) and her husband Al Amin in Chechania Aftab Nagar of Santhia Upazila of Pabna. Since then, Abida Anjum, a 5-year-old child, fell ill after crying day and night for her mother, but did not return her to her mother.
The moneylender Azizur Rahman Bidyut is the librarian of Satbaria Degree College and is the son of deceased Ismail Hossain of Char Beltail village.
In this incident, teacher Irene Parveen filed a case as plaintiff in the Senior Judicial Magistrate Court of Shahjadpur Chowki Court on Monday (April 22) afternoon. Advocate Abdul Aziz Zelhaq, a lawyer for the plaintiff, confirmed this information and said that the Senior Judicial Magistrate of Shahjadpur Chowki Court Golam Rabbani took into account the written application of the plaintiff and ordered the defendants to appear before the court on May 7 to answer the matter.
In this regard, teacher Irene Parveen said that Azizur Rahman Bidyut married her on May 11, 2012 by pretending to be a high-ranking official of a private medical college hospital in Uttara, Dhaka. After marriage, he often beat her and brutally tortured her and snatched all the money from her salary. After talking about buying a place in Uttara of Dhaka, he took 10 lakh 80 thousand taka in 5 years with a salary of 18 thousand taka per month.
After that, when I wanted to see that place, Vidyut could not show me that place. As a result, he was stopped from giving money. Apart from this, he has taken Tk 1 lakh 72 thousand 965 as DPS from Social Islami Bank, Tk 1 lakh 85 thousand from Janata Bank, money for sale of gold jewelery during the construction of a one-storey paved building in Rooppur house and Tk 5 lakh loan from Sonali Bank. While still continuing to deduct 11 thousand 400 taka from the salary for the loan installments of Sonali Bank, Char once again pressured Sonali Bank to pay off the loan of 7 lakh taka by talking about buying land in Beloil village.
As he did not agree to this, Azizur Rahman Bidyut brutally beat him in the morning of March 28. Besides, they try to kill by cutting the throat with a stick and a fish knife. After brutally beating and torturing son Abu Bakar Siddique (9) and daughter Abida Anjum (5) and driving them away from their house in Ruppur Puran Para of Shahjadpur Upazila. On that morning, he went to his father Anwar Hossain’s house in Chuniyakhalipara Mohalla of Shahjadpur Upazila and saved his life. After 7 days, his son Abu Bakr Siddique fell ill and escaped to his mother.
On the other hand, daughter Abida Anjum was kept in the house of her sister Nachima Parveen Bina and her husband Al Amin of Chechania Aftab Nagar village in Santhia Upazila of Pabna and several people are threatening to kill her through phone and mobile phone if she does not withdraw money from the bank.
He also said that as a result of this threat, I and my family are in extreme fear. He sought the intervention of the law enforcement agencies to rescue his 5-year-old daughter Abida Anjum.
He also said that after the filing of this case, miscreants attacked the ground floor of my father’s residence in Chuniyakhali neighborhood on Monday night and broke the window glass of one room and caused a loss of 10,000 rupees. A complaint has been filed at Shahjadpur police station on Tuesday (April 23) morning regarding the vandalism attack.
In this regard, Azizur Rahman Bidyut denied these allegations and told reporters that the incident of beating, strangulation and beating with bati was a year and a half ago. This kind of incident did not happen in 2/1 month. Besides, the girl’s detention is also not true. I am also not involved in the attack on the house in Chuniyakhali neighborhood and breaking the window glass.
