Film artists and journalists complement each other. But in the incident at FDC, that point seems to have been completely lost. Everyone has already protested against such attacks by artists on journalists. Besides, many people also demanded appropriate punishment by bringing the criminals under the law. It is known that actor Shiva Shanu was having an affair with a YouTuber. After the swearing in, he called the YouTuber. At one stage of the conversation, when the journalists appeared, they started arguing with them.
Later, at around 6:30 pm, the journalists were attacked. Many of the witnesses said that Khal actor Shiva Shanu was the mastermind of the attack. Then Joy Chowdhury and Alexander Bo attacked. At one stage of the attack, FDC’s fight directors also took part in the attack.
In this incident, Joy Chowdhury said that this fight started because of asking for an interview with the daughter of former actress Mayuri. After the swearing in, there was a meeting of the executive council. We are all meeting then. At this moment Mayuri Apu came to FDC with her daughter. But he could not enter inside for people outside.
At that time, two or three YouTubers grabbed Mayuri Apu’s daughter’s hand and said, you should give an interview. They were making this request again and again. Mayuri Apu got angry and said, he is not a celebrity, what will you do with his interview?
After seeing this, Shiva Shanu Bhai asked the YouTubers to leave the study room. At one stage of these words, an unpleasant incident happened. There is a fight. They raised hands on Shiva Shanu Bhai. And they run out and say, TV channels have got their hands on everyone. After that, there was a mess. And this is where such an unpleasant incident occurs.
This afternoon, the newly elected committee of Shilpi Samiti for 2024-26 took oath. Chief Election Commissioner Khorshed Alam Khosru administered the oath to association president Misha Saudagar. After that the rest of the members took oath under the leadership of Misha Saudagar.
Misha-Dipjal Parishad won the elections for the 2024-2026 term of Shilpi Samiti. Misha Saudagar got 265 votes for the post of president. The nearest candidate Mahmud Koli got 170 votes. Manowar Hossain Dipzal got 225 votes for the post of general secretary. Nipun Akhtar got 209 votes for the same position. This last general secretary was defeated by only 17 votes.
