Finally, the US Senate passed a 9.5 billion dollar aid package

[৩] The bill will now become law if signed by President Joe Biden. The passage of the bill is considered a significant victory for Biden.
[৪] In the final vote, the bill passed by a vote of 76-18. 15 Republicans and three Democrats voted against the bill. 48 Democrats and 31 Republicans voted in favor.
[৫] A rare session of Congress on Saturday saw votes on four separate bills. It approved $61 billion in aid for Ukraine, $26 billion for Israel, and $8 billion for the Indo-Pacific region.
[৬] The first three bills are of the same type. Passed early this year. Speaker Mike Johnson initially refused to introduce these bills in Congress.
[৭] The fourth bill is to strengthen sanctions on Russian assets and pave the way for a ban on TikTok in the United States. This gives TikTok company 9 months to sell this app. Failure to do so in the meantime will result in the app being banned in the US. Edit: Rashid
