Businessman dies of heat stroke in Jamalpur

A businessman named Golam Rabbani (48) died due to heat stroke in Islampur upazila of Jamalpur.
The businessman died on Tuesday (April 23) around 1 pm. The deceased was a resident of West Gilabari area of Chinaduli Union of Rabbani Upazila. He used to trade pepper in Guthail market. Islampur Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. AAM Abu Taher confirmed the matter.
According to family and hospital sources, businessman Golam Rabbani suddenly fell ill at his home around 11:30 am today. Later the locals took him to Upazila Health Complex. After being taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead.
Islampur Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. AAM Abu Taher said that the businessman died before being brought to the hospital. But we think he died due to excessive heat.
