The housewife died around 1 pm on Monday. The deceased’s name is Babita Akhter (37). She is the wife of Nadeem Mandal of Bypail Mandalpara Mohalla in Ashulia. Babita saved the life of her dying husband with one of her kidneys. It is known that on April 15, Babita went to eat at a restaurant in Palli Vidyut area. On his way back home, when he reached Habib pump in Palashbari area, two robbers on a motorcycle tried to take away his vanity bag and neck chain. At that time, he fell off the moving rickshaw and hit his head on the highway due to the robbers pulling and pulling him and became unconscious.
Later, the locals rescued him and admitted him to a nearby clinic. There, when his condition deteriorated, he was being treated in the Neuro Intensive Care Center (ICU) after surgery at the Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar.
