Elephant dead on the side of the road, teeth missing

Forest department officials recovered a dead elephant from the side of Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in the area of ​​gate number 2 of Rajendrapur Bhawal National Park in Gazipur. The officials of the forest department went to the spot yesterday morning after receiving information about the dead body of an elephant lying next to Bhawal Udyan in Gazipur. Wildlife and Biodiversity Conservation Officer Rubia Islam said, came to the spot and found that the dead elephant had wounds on its head and its teeth had been removed. Meanwhile, Gazipur Metropolitan Police Sadar Thana Police and Tourist Police teams are at the spot. After the police forensic team collects the information, a veterinary surgeon and a veterinary surgeon from the University of Agriculture will jointly conduct a post-mortem.
