Tuesday’s IPL 2024 match between Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants was the seventh Indian Premier League match to feature multiple centurions.
In Chennai, CSK’s Ruturaj Gaikwad and LSG’s Marcus Stoinis scored centuries, marking the fifth time that players from both teams have scored centuries in the IPL.
Interestingly, three of the five have happened this season, with only Virat Kohli and Jos Buttler and Sunil Narine and Jos Buttler scoring centuries.
On Tuesday, Gaikwad scored 108 off 60 balls and Stoinis 100 off 56 balls in the first innings.
