Stock market closing today know sensex nifty 50 top gainers and losers

Share Market Today: Starting from Fri. The Indian stock market closed in the green for three consecutive days. Midcap and smallcap stocks were overbought in today’s trading. Buying was also seen in FMCG and consumer & IT stocks. BSE Sensex jumped 90 points to close at 73,738 points and National Stock Exchange Nifty jumped 32 points to close at 22,368 points at the end of today’s trading.

The market cap has once again crossed Rs 400 lakh crore
Market capitalization of BSE-listed companies crossed Rs 400 lakh crore again in today’s trading. However, the market cap went below this level due to a fall from the upper level in the last hour. At the end of today’s trading, the market capitalization closed at Rs 399.68 lakh crore, as against Rs 397.85 lakh crore in the previous trading session. Which means investors’ wealth increased by Rs 1.83 lakh crore in today’s trading.

What is the status of any sector?
Midcap and smallcap stocks gained the most in today’s trade. The Nifty Midcap Index closed with a gain of 518 points. Whereas the small cap index increased by 203 points. Apart from this, share prices of banking, IT, auto, FMCG, real estate, media, consumer durables sectors have increased. Where as pharma, health care, oil and gas, power and metal sector share decline is observed. There are signs of bearishness in the market in the coming days. India VIX is trading at 10.19 level with a fall of 19.76 percent. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 stocks closed with gains and 12 closed with losses. Whereas, out of 50 stocks in Nifty, 30 closed with gains and 20 closed with losses.

Which stocks rise, where fall
Grasim rose 3.93 percent, Bharti Airtel rose 3.45 percent, Nestle rose 1.73 percent, Maruti Suzuki rose 1.65 percent, Tata Motors rose 1.36 percent in today’s trade. Sun Pharma closed down 3.60 percent, BPCL 1.73 percent, Reliance 1.39 percent lower.

Best Nifty 50 Gainers Today
Shares of Grasim (3.90 per cent), Bharti Airtel (3.83 per cent) and Nestle (1.66 per cent) closed as the top gainers in the Nifty 50 index.

Best Nifty 50 Losers Today
Shares of Sun Pharma (down 3.56 percent), BPCL (down 1.65 percent) and Reliance Industries (down 1.36 percent) ended as the top losers in the Nifty pack.

What were the sectoral indices today?
Among sectoral indices, the Nifty ended with losses in Pharma (down 0.96 percent), Healthcare (0.95 percent), Oil & Gas (down 0.73 percent) and Metals (down 0.34 percent).
Nifty realty jumped 2.58 percent, while FMCG, consumer durables and IT indices rose over half a percent each. Bank Nifty ended with a slim gain of 0.10 percent.
