Four members of the same family died in a bus accident on the way home after treatment

Four people including two children of the same family were killed in a bus accident on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway on their way home from Comilla after seeing a doctor.

The accident took place last night in Malikhil area of ​​Daudkandi Upazila of Comilla. Daudkandi Highway Police OC Shahinul Alam said, three women along with a child were going from one side of the highway to the other. At that time, a bus of Ekushe Paribahan heading from Noakhali to Dhaka hit them. Later, they were rescued and taken to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared the three women dead. The child who was with them was being taken to Dhaka with serious injuries. He also died on the way.

Meanwhile, two students of Civil Engineering Department of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology were killed by the bus. In this incident, the angry students blocked the road and vandalized the bus and set it on fire. In the night, agitated students set fire to a Shah Amanat Paribahan bus in front of the main gate of Chuet.
