Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has arrived in Dhaka on a two-day visit. The Emir of Qatar will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday (April 23) morning, the second day of the visit. Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed between the two countries after the meeting of the two top leaders.
The Emir of Qatar arrived in Dhaka on a special flight on Monday (April 22) around 5 pm. The President welcomed him at the airport. Sahabuddin.
It is known that 11 agreements and memorandum of understanding (MOU) will be signed between the two countries during the Amir’s visit. These include six agreements and five MoUs. His visit will discuss trade and investment as well as the special situation in the Middle East resulting from the Iran-Israel conflict.
The Emir of Qatar will pay a courtesy call on the President at Bangabhaban on Tuesday afternoon. He will then leave Dhaka by special flight in the evening.
A road named after the Emir of Qatar in Dhaka
A road in Dhaka will be named after the Emir of Qatar. In this regard, the foreign minister said in a press conference on Sunday that the park to be built in the sand ground of Mirpur’s Kalshi area and the road from Mirpur ECB square to Kalshi airport will be named after the Emir of Qatar.
Incidentally, this is the first time since 2005 that an Emir of Qatar visited Dhaka.
