Two students of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CHUTE) were killed in a bus accident in Rangunia, Chittagong.
The accident took place at Saptapir Mazar area of Chittagong-Kaptai road on Monday around 3:30 pm.

The deceased are Shanto Saha, a 20th batch student of Chuet’s Civil Engineering department and Taufik Hossain, a 21st batch student of the same department.
Confirming this information, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rangunia Police Station Chandan Kumar told The Daily Star that three students of Chuet were going to the campus from Kaptai on a motorcycle.
Two students were killed when a passenger bus from Chittagong to Rangunia hit the motorcycle on the way.
The injured Chuet student Zakaria is being treated at a private hospital, said the OC.
Police impounded the bus after the accident. But the driver managed to escape.
The OC said that a case is under process at Rangunia police station.
