Barisal: Resident Medical Officer of Barisal Sadar Hospital Dr. Md. Delwar Hossain’s family has complained that the housewife died due to wrong treatment.
About two months and 10 days ago in a private clinic in the city of Barisal, Dr. Caesar operated on the housewife. Delwar After the operation, the baby was healthy but the housewife’s body was rotten. He died at Bogra Road South Bengal Clinic in the city on Sunday (April 21).
The deceased housewife’s name is Lamiya Riya (19). She is the wife of Sabbir Hossain of village Kamarkathi of Jalabari Union No. 5 of Nesharabad Upazila of Pirojpur District. Sabbir Hossain said, on February 5, my healthy wife was given a Caesarean section by Dr. Bring it to Delwar Hossain.
After 4-5 days of caesarean come to open stitches. Then I saw blood and pus coming out from the stitched area. Then Dr. Delwar said another small operation should be done. Only then will it be fixed. Even though the operation was done as he said, the rotting in that place increased day by day. Riya died on Sunday morning. He will file a case in this incident.
Rabeya Begum, the mother of the deceased Ria, said that after the cesarean, when blood and pus came out of the wound, another operation was performed as per the doctor’s advice. Since then the entire stomach has rotted and blood, pus as well as stools come out. My daughter died today because of the doctor.
When the journalists went to the spot after receiving the news of the death, they were attacked by Dr. Delwar Hossain, Bhagina and brokers of the clinic. Then they arrogantly said that no one can publish any news. The relatives of Dr. Delwar Hossain also threatened to see them if they published the news.
Dr. Delwar Hossain was called several times to inquire about these matters, but he did not receive. After that, he sent a small message to his mobile, but there was no reply.
In this regard, Kotwali Model Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Amanullah Bari told reporters that he has not received any complaint so far. Appropriate action will be taken if complaints are received.
