Two died in ‘heatstroke’ in the capital

The police recovered the bodies of two vagabonds from different places in Jatrabari of the capital. Their names were not immediately known. Both of them were vagabonds and drug addicts. Police initially believed that they died due to heatstroke or some other illness.

Jatrabari Police Station Deputy Inspector (SI) Tapas Mandal and Deputy Inspector (SI) Mahmuda Rahman confirmed this information on Monday (April 22).

Tapas Mondal Surathal mentioned in the report, the age of the unidentified person is approximately 30 years. His body was recovered at night from Jatrabari South Sheikhdi No. 5 Road. Jatrabari Thana police recovered the body on Sunday night. After that, it was sent to Dhaka Medical College Morgue for autopsy.

He said that the person was a vagabond and a drug addict. He died due to heatstroke or some other illness after turning his head while crossing the road. Meanwhile, Deputy Inspector (SI) of Jatrabari Police Station Mahmuda Rahman said that the dead body of another unidentified person was recovered from the footpath in front of West Khawaja Hotel at Jatrabari town intersection at night. He was also a vagabond and a drug addict. He is believed to have died due to illness. He said fingerprints have been collected to identify them. The cause of death can be confirmed only after an autopsy.
