The price of gold increased again, reaching 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka

A day after the price cut, the price of gold has been increased again. The price of good quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold has increased by Tk 630 per weight. As a result, the price of gold per load has increased to 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka.

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) said in a notification that this new price will be implemented from 3:30 pm on Sunday (April 21). As always, it is reported that the price has been increased in view of the increase in the price of acidic gold in the local market.

According to the new prices, the price of 21 carat gold has been increased by Tk 607 to Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 4, the price of 18 carat has been increased by Tk 513 to Tk 97 thousand 709 and the price of traditional gold has been increased by Tk 420 to Tk 78 thousand 662.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged despite the increase in gold prices. Currently, the price of 22 carat solid silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.

Incidentally, on Saturday (April 20), the price of 22 carat gold was reduced by 840 taka to 1 lakh 18 thousand 798 taka. But within a day, the price of this metal was increased again.
