Gold price has fluctuated 3 times in 4 days, now it is Tk 119428

Dhaka: Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has revised the price of gold three times in the last four days. Of this, on April 18, the price of gold increased to a record 1 lakh 19 thousand 638 taka. From there on April 20, the price decreased to 1 lakh 18 thousand 780 taka.

Last Sunday (April 21), the price of gold increased by Tk 648. As a result, the cost of buying gold of this quality will be 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka. This new price will be effective from today.

Bajus announced this in a notification sent to the media on this day. The announcement came through a circular signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee.

According to Bajus notification, the price of pure gold has increased in the local market. Therefore, taking into account the overall situation, the new price of gold has been fixed in the meeting of the standing committee for price determination and price monitoring of bajus.

According to the new announcement of Bajus, from April 21, it will cost 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka to buy good quality 22 carat gold (11.664 grams). Apart from this, the price of 21 carat gold has been fixed at Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 4. 18 carats will cost 97 thousand 709 taka and the price of traditional method has been fixed at 78 thousand 662 taka.

However, Bajus did not make any announcement to increase or decrease the price of silver on this day. According to the previous announcement, the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat silver is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat silver is 1 thousand 715 taka and traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.

It may be noted that Bangladesh Jewelers Association re-fixed the price of gold on April 21.
