Chittaranjan: The car lost control and hit the divider on the side of the road (Road accident). A worker of Chittaranjan Railway Engine Factory died. Name Rajesh Tiwari (45). He was a member of INTUC. His wife was seriously injured in the accident.
The incident took place on National Highway 19 at Nirsa in Jharkhand. INTUC general secretary Indrajit Singh said that Rajesh Chittaranjan was returning from Gopalganj in Bihar in a car with his wife on Saturday evening. While coming along National Highway No. 19, their car suddenly lost control and hit the divider on the side of the road. Both were seriously injured in the incident. They were rescued and taken to hospital. The doctor declared Rajesh dead there. The deceased’s wife is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Burdwan.
