Dhaka: Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash said that today there are anti-Bangladesh conspiracies and propaganda going on in the country and abroad. There is a conspiracy to oust an elected government illegally.

Even though our electoral process is transparent and voter turnout is satisfactory, a domestic and foreign reactionary circle continues to spread lies and propaganda against our elections and democratic system.

Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazal Shams Parash inaugurated and presided over the program at Farmgate (adjacent to Anand Cinema Hall) at 11 am on Friday (April 26).

Bangladesh Awami Jubo League chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash said in the president’s speech that Jubo League always does politics in the interests of oppressed people. So today when people are suffering due to intense heat, our Jubo League leaders and activists are not sitting at home. Our leader teaches. Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina has sent us to you with fresh water, to quench your thirst, to ease your suffering. Likewise, he has presented himself as an ambassador of peace in the world court. He spoke strongly about the rights of oppressed-exploited people in Gaza.

He further said that the people of this country will exercise their civil rights by exercising the right to vote, because the people are the source of all power. Awami League does not believe in murder, conspiracy politics, Awami League believes in the people of this country. People are our place of trust.

He further said, today along with drinking water, we have distributed some health leaflets and election related leaflets. You will follow the health instructions. We hope that all the units of the country will stand by the people who are suffering in the heat.
