South Bengal is not getting rid of arson now. On Thursday, the Alipore Meteorological Department said that the heat wave will continue in all the districts of South Bengal including Kolkata. The Meteorological Office has also predicted heat wave in two districts of North Bengal – North Dinajpur and Malda. Voting in North Dinajpur’s Raiganj Lok Sabha constituency on Friday. After issuing the heat wave warning, the administration has increased concern about whether the voting rate will be low or not.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in five districts, predicting severe heat wave. These districts are Jhargram, East Midnapore, West Midnapore, Bankura and West Burdwan. The question of when a few days of rain will bring temporary relief to the intense heat and uncomfortable weather is in people’s minds. However, the Meteorological Department could not give any good news about the rain even on Thursday. According to them, there is no possibility of rain for now. On the contrary, the temperature is predicted to increase slightly in the next few days.

According to the weather office, the mercury may rise by another 2-4 degrees Celsius in Gangetic West Bengal over the next three days. In line with the earlier forecast, heat wave was observed over large parts of the state on Wednesday as well. Heatwave has hit 15 places in the state. And in 20 places the temperature has exceeded 40 degrees Celsius. Kolkata is also in that list. On Wednesday, the temperature in Kolkata was 40.5 degrees Celsius. Heat wave also occurred in the metropolis. It has been reported that the maximum temperature of Kolkata will be above 40 degrees Celsius on Thursday as well.
