According to the verdict, the public witness does not support the allegation that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the bedroom of Monir’s house in the presence of Emad and Mubarak. Analyzing the evidence of the state’s witnesses, it is proved that Monir’s residence is not at 6:30 in the morning; The operation was conducted at 10:30 pm. A raid was conducted at Monir’s house for a special purpose. The state’s case is settled. The testimony given by other witnesses about the recovery of arms and bullets from Monir’s bedroom is not at all credible.

According to the verdict, there is no record of forensic examination of the weapon recovered from Monir’s house. Again the case is delayed for 19 hours and 15 minutes. The explanation for such a delay is not satisfactory.

According to the information of the judgment, Sub Inspector (SI) Manik Chandra Roy, a witness in the case, told the court that Monir Hossain was arrested from the second floor of his house. Another witness SI Jamal Hossain and ASI Nazim Uddin said that Monir Hossain was arrested from the third floor of the house. That is, the testimonies of the witnesses are contradictory.

The court also mentioned that the investigating officer of the case, Inspector Abdul Malek, told the court that during the investigation, he came to know that Monir and his wife had two licensed weapons. That is, it is clear from Abdul Malek’s testimony that Monir and his wife had two legal weapons in their names. The case of keeping another illegal weapon while having a legal one is not credible.
