More than 2,000 cases of avocado oil have been recalled after officers discovered the glass could be broken.
According to a notice issued by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Primal Kitchen has voluntarily recalled 750 ml bottles of Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil. About 2,060 cases containing three date codes were affected.
The problem was discovered after the company noticed avocado oil leaking from a container.

Products are sold throughout the eastern United States as well as California. It is also sold online nationwide.

“Key Kitchen is dedicated to maintaining the highest level of safety and quality standards,” the company said in a statement.

Withdrawal is limited to 750ml bottles. No other size, format or batch is affected by the packaging issue. Additionally, there have been no reports of injury or illness to other consumers to date.

Consumers are advised to dispose of the product and contact the raw kitchen.
