The latest weather news of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions from Bangladesh Meteorological Department is presented. This report is valid from 9am today, Tuesday (April 23) for the next 72 hours.

According to the Meteorological Department, the extension of western low pressure is located over West Bengal and adjoining areas of India.

According to the rainfall, two or two places in Sylhet division may receive temporary gusty/gusty winds with rain/thunder. Along with that there may be scattered hail at some places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky.

It has been said about heat flow, intense heat flow is flowing over Rajshahi, Pabna, Khulna, Bagerhat, Jessore, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts. A mild to moderate heatwave is prevailing over the remainder of Dhaka, Rangpur and Barisal divisions and Rajshahi and Khulna divisions including Mymensingh, Moulvibazar and Rangamati districts and may persist.

As for temperature, day temperatures may rise slightly across the country and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged. Excess water vapor may cause discomfort.

Khulna, Jessore and Chuadanga were the highest temperatures across the country on Monday; 40.06 degrees Celsius and the lowest temperature was at Tetalia and Dimla; 21.04 degrees Celsius.
