Acknowledging the honor of the Akhiniya Shilpi Sangh, the voice of this talented actress oozed gratitude for that.
TV drama artists’ organization ‘Abhinaya Shilpi Sangh’ gave this award at Lajpally in Savar on Saturday.
Originally, this honor was given to the artists who won the National Film Award in 2022. Actresses Rozina, Afsana Mimi, Nasir Uddin Khan, SA Haque Alik, Shubashis Bhowmik and a total of 10 people received the award along with Jaya.
According to Jaya, ‘Abhinaya Shilpi Sangh’ is like family to her.
He said, “I remember my serial plays in the country. I grew up on this soil. The branches of acting may have gone there (India), but I was made here, the gradual growth of acting is what it is called.
“Bangladesh is the biggest place for my acting. I express my gratitude to Abhinay Shilpi Sangh for honoring me.”
Accepting the award, Nasir Uddin Khan said, “Any award adds to the joy of receiving work. And the emotion of the reward from one’s own people is different.”
Nasir Uddin Khan sang the song ‘Bari Khai Bari Nai’ in the local language of Chittagong at the request of everyone present at that time.
Actress Afsana Mimi received the award from actor Afzal Hossain.
The actress said, “This family is very dear to me. Accepting the award from Afzal Bhai, it is a great honor. I want to get this love from everyone for the rest of my life.”
Many could not receive the award as they were out of the country.
