68 startups at Huawei ICT Incubator Boot Camp

A three-day boot camp has been organized in Dhaka for the 68 startups selected in the first phase of the Huawei ICT Incubator Program. Organized in collaboration with Startup Bangladesh Limited and Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (IDEA), the camp trained participants on how to start a business and make the business sustainable.

Startup Bangladesh Limited and Idea selected the selected startups from a total of 180 applications. Startups are selected on the basis of business idea, team structure, feasibility and traction of the idea.

The selected startups participated in various sessions during the three-day event. 11 trainers conduct the training in the boot camp.

ICT Incubators are divided into two categories. A total of 6 startups will be announced as winners in both cases. The champion team will get a prize money of up to 5 lakh rupees. Champion Startup CEOs will get an opportunity to meet founders of successful startups outside the country. Besides, the startup will get Huawei cloud credit up to 1 lakh 25 thousand dollars.
