Dhaka, April 26, 2024 (BSS): Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Md Tajul Islam said that no country in the world could develop without education. Higher education, science and technological excellence are what propel a nation forward. There is no substitute for higher education in human resource development of any country.
He said these things during the opening ceremony of a two-day education fair titled Study in Malaysia-Education Fair Bangladesh at the Sheraton Hotel in Bananisth, Dhaka.
Minister Tajul Islam emphasized on education and said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the once poverty-stricken Bangladesh has become a middle-income country today. Food shortage Bangladesh today is self-sufficient in food, Bangladesh today has achieved the ability to produce electricity, making it possible to electrify every house in the country. Skilled and smart human resources are essential to achieve the dream of a developed Bangladesh by 2041. Education will advance us to build that human resource.
Representatives of eleven renowned Malaysian universities and a hospital group participated in the education fair. As a result of this education fair, it is hoped that the long-term cooperation between Bangladesh and Malaysia in the field of education will be strengthened.
