Bangabandhu Medical at Father of the Nation’s Tomb

Gopalganj: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University’s new Vice-Chancellor (Academic) professor Dr. Mohammad Atiqur Rahman.

He reached Tungipara around 10 am on Friday (April 26) and offered flowers at the altar of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s tomb.

Later, he stood silently by the side of the altar for a while and paid humble respect to Bangabandhu, the great architect of independent Bangladesh.

After that, he recited the holy Fateha and participated in prayers and prayers for the souls of Bangabandhu and his family members who were killed and martyrs who died in the liberation war.

After paying tribute, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Atiqur Rahman went to the administrative building of Tungipara Bangabandhu Samadhi Soudh. He wrote comments and signed the inspection book kept there.

He then visited Bangabandhu’s original ancestral home and memorial sites in Tungipara.

At this time Professor Dr. AKM Khurshidul Alam, Dr. Ariful Islam Zoaddar Tito, Dr. Zakir Sumon, senior vice president of Tungipara Upazila Awami League. Elias Hossain, Municipal Mayor Sheikh Tozammel Haque Tutul, General Secretary of Municipal Awami League. Forkan Biswas, teachers, doctors, officers and employees of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University were present.
