Why did 72 officials of Bangladesh Bank and ACC leave their jobs?

72 officials of Bangladesh Bank and Anti-Corruption Commission have resigned from their jobs. Among them there are 57 officials of Bangladesh Bank and 15 officials of ACC. A large number of officials of these two important organizations have left their jobs and various discussions have started. The question is why they left the job.
However, the officials of the two institutions said that these officers have left their jobs to join other jobs including the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS). Some have other reasons.
Among the resignations of the central bank are a deputy director and an officer. The remaining 55 are assistant directors. The resignations of 48 of them took effect on Thursday (April 25).
Central bank officials said bank salaries are high compared to any other job. As the regulatory body of the banking sector, Bangladesh Bank had a system to encourage employment in various ways. Talents prevailed in all fields. Till 2018 four additional increments were given on the basis of academic results after joining as Assistant Director.

It was discontinued from AD batch of 2019.
Apart from this, the officers would be eligible for promotion in the next step subject to the vacancy of the post after completion of three years till 2022. Even if the post is vacant now, they don’t get promotion if it’s not 5 years. Earlier 9 months foundation training was done after joining. Now brought down from one to three months. Again, an additional increment was given if 80 percent marks were obtained in this training. That too is now closed. Due to these reasons officials are moving to other government jobs including administration.
On the other hand, ACC Service Association (DUSA) has informed in a press release about the resignation of 15 ACC officers, they have left ACC to join various cadres of BCS. Dusa gave them a farewell reception on Thursday. Working as Assistant Director of ACC. Ataur Rahman (Administration), Akib Raihan (Administration), Shaon Hasan Anik (Administration), Talukder Intezar (Administration), Chowdhury Biswanath Anand (Administration), Ashraful Hossain (Police), Sujnur Islam Sujan (Police) and Md. Imam Hussain (Police) will join the respective cadre. It has been informed that Khairul Islam, Shekhar Roy, Siddika Marjan, Asif Arafat, Poppy Howladar and Royal Hossain working as Deputy Assistant Directors will join the Education cadre and Mahmudul Hasan Titas will join the Agriculture cadre.
