Dhaka: The shortage of fresh water is intensifying all over the world. In such a situation, experts have emphasized on recycling waste water using modern technology to ensure sustainable water management.
A conference titled ‘DuPont Day’ organized at a hotel in the capital on Thursday (April 25) highlighted various ways of new solutions for sustainable water management.
US-based DuPont Water Solutions Limited and their authorized distributor Water Technology Bangladesh Limited in Bangladesh organized the conference.
In the event, the technology developed by DuPont to make the water used in various industrial plants suitable for re-use by purifying it at a low cost was highlighted.
Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZAR) Executive Chairman Sheikh Yusuf Harun was present as the chief guest in the opening session of the day-long conference.
Also present were Chris Fernandes, Regional Head of DuPont Water Solutions and Enamul Habib, Managing Director of Water Technology.
According to the organizers, DuPont Water Solutions is working on innovative technologies for sustainable water management with customized solutions to meet specific customer needs.
“We are working on a technological solution, which will ensure healthy water management in the industry,” said Chris, India Region Director, DuPont Water Solutions.
Enamul Habib, Managing Director of Water Technology Bangladesh said, as the only authorized distributor of DuPont in Bangladesh, our efforts will continue to develop innovative technologies in ‘modern water management’ in industries.
