The Bangladesh-Zimbabwe T20 cricket match being held at Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong is being brought under tight security. From Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport to stadiums and hotels, several levels of security have been arranged to ensure the safety of the players.

The meeting was held in the conference room of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) commissioner’s office in Dampara city on Thursday (April 25). These decisions are made there.

Bangladesh cricket team will come to Chittagong to play the series on Thursday (April 25) night and Zimbabwe cricket team will come to Chittagong from next Sunday (April 28).

CMP Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration and Finance) AS Mahtab Uddin presided over the meeting, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Operations) Abdul Mannan Mia, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Masood Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Md. Abdul Warish and other police officials. Senior officials and BCB, district administration, WASA, Chittagong City Corporation, CDA, APBN, Fire Service, RAB, BRTA, CMCH, BPDB, security officers of Radisson Blu Hotel and representatives of various government and private organizations were present.
