DMP News : Just like police is needed to save life, culture is needed to organize life. DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman BPM (bar), PPM (bar) said that the police has a position in all aspects of civil life to save lives and organize lives.

He said this at the opening ceremony of the Bangladesh Police annual cultural competition for the first time at the Bangladesh Police Auditorium in Rajarbagh on Thursday morning.

Commissioner of DMP said, Bangladesh Police is a law and order force. More than 200,000 policemen are serving 24 hours a day and night to maintain law and order. But I am proud to say that Bangladesh Police service is not limited to law and order only. They showed that in 1971 in the Great War of Liberation, in 2013 and later during Corona. They did not hesitate to provide public services risking their lives in any calamity including heat wave. I think today’s Bangladesh Police has become the police that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman wanted.

DMP Commissioner said, as police is needed to save life, culture is needed to organize life. Today, we are organizing this competition with the promise of police’s position to save lives and improve lives.
