According to the Meteorological Department, day and night temperatures are likely to remain almost unchanged across the country. Excess water vapor may cause discomfort.

It is informed that severe heat wave is flowing over Khulna division along with Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Rajshahi, Pabna, Faridpur and Gopalganj districts. Mild to moderate heat wave is prevailing over Barisal division including Mymensingh, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni and Bandarban districts and remainder of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions and may persist.
At two places in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, rain with gusty wind or thundershower may occur temporarily and also scattered hailstorm at some places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the highest temperature of the country was 41.6 degrees Celsius in Mangla and today, Thursday, the lowest temperature in the country will be 17.7 degrees Celsius in Tentulia. The relative humidity of the air in Dhaka at 6 am today was 82 percent.
The highest temperature of the divisional cities of the country on Wednesday was 39.2 degrees Celsius in Dhaka, 41.3 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi, 37.8 degrees Celsius in Rangpur, 37.3 degrees Celsius in Mymensingh, 33.3 degrees Celsius in Sylhet, 34.8 degrees Celsius in Chittagong, 40.2 degrees Celsius in Khulna and 38.1 degrees Celsius in Barisal.
