The board of directors of Bangladesh National Insurance Company Limited, listed in the insurance sector of the capital market, has declared 20 percent dividend for the shareholders. Its all cash dividends.

The board of directors of the company has decided to pay this dividend to the shareholders after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended on December 31, 2023. As a result, the shareholders will get a cash dividend of 2 taka against every 10 taka worth of shares.

On Thursday (April 25), this information was revealed on the website of Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on June 25 to approve the declared dividend to the shareholders. For this, the record date has been fixed on May 27.

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year ended at Rs.4.04. The profit per share of the company in the same period of the previous financial year was Rs.4.

Net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of the company for the financial year under discussion was Rs.4.23. The company’s NOCFPA was Tk 10.32 during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

Net asset value per share (NAVPS) of the company stood at Tk 26.28 during the reporting period.

In view of this corporate announcement, there will be no price limit for the trading of shares of the company on this day.
