Special Istiska Namaz was held in Barisal to pray for rain. This prayer was organized in the city’s church hall and school grounds around 9 am on Thursday. Imam Maulana Kamal Uddin Moini of the city’s Jame Kasai Mosque led the special prayers.
People from different parts of the city participated in the prayer. About 500 people from different classes and professions were present in the prayer in 8 queues. At the end of the prayer, God’s mercy is sought for rain. At this time, the worshipers started crying.
Maulana Chohrab Hossain, Principal of Uttampur Islamia Kamil Madrasa, Bakerganj, discussed religious issues before prayers. He said, the intense fire that is going on across the country has become a cause of suffering for people. To get rid of this, it is necessary to pray to God Almighty for more help.
Participating in the prayer, Abdur Rahman said, there is a history of God’s revelation of various miracles when wickedness increases among people. Natural calamities are examples of such disasters. In order to get out of these dangers, one should seek help from Allah by following the path shown by the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
