The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of East West University organized a two-day long ‘CSE Fest’.
In a press release on Wednesday, the university said, representatives of 24 universities and 20 IT companies are participating in the festival on Wednesday and Thursday.
Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman (Acting) Professor Muhammad Alamgir said at the festival, “Bangladesh’s achievements would have been greater if the talented people had not gone abroad and used their talents for the country’s work.” So students have to work to advance the country from country to country.”
Professor Mohammad Farasuddin, chief advisor of East West University and former governor of Bangladesh Bank, told the students, “Think about the contribution of this country, society, and parents to your achievement and make yourself a better person.”
East West University Vice-Chancellor Professor Shams Rahman, CSE Department Chairperson and Associate Professor Mahin Islam also spoke on the occasion.
This year there will be programming competition, gaming competition, robo soccer, line follower competition, project showcasing competition, job fair, IT Olympiad, 5 seminars on various topics of technology.
