Most of these officers were working in various departments of the central bank’s head office. Besides, three people each were working in Khulna and Barisal offices, two people in Sylhet office, one each in Motijheel, Chittagong and Rangpur offices.

Incidentally, once upon a time, many people used to leave jobs like teaching in BCS and public universities to join the central bank. But now many people feel that the tendency to leave the job is increasing due to the frustration with the lack of autonomy of the central bank and the reduction of job opportunities.
