Dhaka: Istiska prayers and prayers were held at various places in the capital, including Jatrabari, Matuail, Demra, Konapara, in anticipation of relief from the intense heat and rain.
Istiskar at Jatrabari Prayers and supplications: Salatul Istiska was performed at Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa Maidan at 10 am on Wednesday to avoid severe heat and lack of rain.
Dr. Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa principal. Under the leadership of Mufti Muhammad Abu Yusuf Khan, the vice-principal of the madrasa was also present in the prayer. Khalilur Rahman Madani, advocate on behalf of the guardian congregation. Helal Uddin, Dr. Abdul Mannan, Mufassir Maulana Zakir Hossain Sheikh, Faqih Mufti Maulana Mohiuddin, Mufti Maulana Shariful Islam and respected teachers, students and parents of the madrasa were present. Also numerous ulama are attended by Keram and devout Muslims.
Principal before the prayer. Mufti Muhammad Abu Yusuf Khan said, all the dangers and calamities in heaven and earth are the work of human hands. To be saved from this, we must turn to Allah. God should be feared. All sinful activities should be avoided. Today, severe heat is going on all over the country including the capital Dhaka. Common people have become impatient due to unbearable heat. To get rid of this situation, we seek refuge in Almighty Allah Rabbul Alamin. May Allah save us all from this situation through the rain of mercy.
Performing Istisqa Namaz in Demra: Istiska prayers and prayers were held on Wednesday at the central Eidgah ground in Demra of the capital for the rain of mercy. Istiska prayers and prayers were conducted by Khatib Maulana Abu Taleb Miah of Baitul Atiq Jame Masjid.
Istiska Namaz and Dua in Matuail: In the Imamate of Principal Mizanur Rahman, Istiska prayers and prayers were held on Wednesday morning in Matuail of the capital for freedom from intense heat and rain of mercy. Muhammad Shahjahan Khan, Mir Bahar Amirul Islam, Bayezid Ahmad, Mizanur Rahman Malek, Mahmud Hossain, Belal Hossain, Muhammad Junaid and a large number of Muslims were also present at the time.
Istiska Namaz and Dua in Konapara: Istiska prayers and prayers were held in Konapara of the capital on Wednesday morning for the rain of mercy. Engineer Muhammad Ali, Abu Chaim, Maulana Omar Farooq, Maulana Abdur Rashid, Maulana Mir Al Amin and local Muslims were present in the Istiska prayers and prayers held under the overall supervision of prominent social worker Abu Zainab.
