State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief. Mohibbur Rahman said that India is and will be with Bangladesh on the Rohingya issue. They are always supporting the Rohingya issue. Support will continue in the future.

The state minister said this to reporters after a meeting with India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh Prannoy Kumar Verma in his office at the Secretariat on Wednesday (April 24).

He said that all the issues with Bangladesh and India have been discussed. We are confident that Bangladesh and India will work together in every matter.

When asked how India will cooperate in this matter, the state minister said that the work of repatriation of Rohingya is going on diplomatically. They know about the location of Bangladesh. They are always with Bangladesh in this regard.

The state minister said that Bangladesh and India have similar nature and geographical conditions. We will work together to deal with future problems. I will exchange experience with each other. We agree on that. We will work together to keep the country safe and disaster free for future generations.
