Four platoons of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed to control the situation in the case of workers being beaten to death in Kalimandir of Baliakandi Panchapalli, Madhukhali, Faridpur.

Wednesday (April 24) BGB headquarters public relations officer. Shariful Islam informed this information.

Shariful Islam said that from 9 am today, 4 platoon members of BGB are conducting patrols in coordination with the magistrates of Faridpur district administration near Baliakandi Panchapalli of Madhukhali upazila and Baghatbazar area with the magistrates of Faridpur district.

The official of BGB said that currently the situation in the area is normal. Along with the BGB patrol, the village police are stationed with the joint forces including the magistrate.

Meanwhile, three cases have been registered in connection with the fire in Kalimandir of Madhukhali, Baliakandi, Panchapalli, Faridpur. Three cases were registered at Madhukhali police station on Friday (April 19) night.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Madukhali police station Miraj Hossain said that one person has been arrested in this incident. The remaining 10 people are being detained at the police station and are being interrogated. However, it is not possible to tell the names and identities of the accused and the detainees. Details will be given later.
