Bangladesh-Zimbabwe T20 series Zimbabwe team led by Sikandar Raja

Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has announced a 15-member squad led by Sikandar Raja for the upcoming five-match T20I tour of Bangladesh. The first match of the series will be held in Chittagong from May 3. The second and third matches of the series will be played in Chittagong on May 5 and 7. The last two matches will be held in Dhaka on May 10 and 12 respectively.

For the first time, leg-spinner all-rounder Jonathan Campbell, son of former captain Alastair Campbell, got a chance in the Zimbabwe team. Jonathan was a member of the Zimbabwe Emerging team that won the gold medal at the 13th African Games last month.

Jonathan is joined by Clive Madande and Brian Bennett from the Emerging team. Madande has played 15 ODIs and 20 T20Is while Bennett has played 6 T20Is in Zimbabwe jersey.

The team led by Sikander Raja includes veterans Craig Irvine, Sean Williams, Richard Ngarava and Blessing Mujarabani.

Batter Tadiwanashe Marumani and all-rounder Faraz Akram, who missed the Sri Lanka series, have been brought back into the squad. Zimbabwe lost the series 2-1.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the 17-member initial squad for the preparatory camp ahead of the series against Zimbabwe on Tuesday.
