Severe heat wave is going on all over the country. It has made public life miserable and disturbed. In this situation, the fire service and civil defense have arranged water to bring relief to the common people, pedestrians, rickshaw pullers and other professions of the capital Dhaka.

This service was provided by installing 1,800 liter water tanks in different places of Dhaka city from Wednesday (April 24) morning.

Media cell of Fire Service and Civil Defense said that in the meantime, in front of the Secretariat of Dhaka, temporary tanks are being installed in various areas including Dhanmondi Road No. 5 and pedestrians are being given drinking water. It will run from morning to evening every day. This activity will continue as long as such intense heat wave continues.

Deputy Director of Dhaka Division of Fire Service. Saleh Uddin said, those who are tired on the road can drink water from this water tank. Two firefighters will be stationed near the water tank for water distribution and maintenance from morning to evening.

The fire service also said that the fire service and civil defense have the initiative to make this program nationwide.
