Under the management of Bangladesh Basketball Federation and in collaboration with Rajshahi District Sports Association, Independence Day Three on Three Basketball Tournament has been inaugurated at Rajshahi District Gymnasium. District Sports Association Additional General Secretary Shamsuzzaman Ratan announced the opening of the game as the chief guest at 9 am on Wednesday.
Khairul Alam Farhad, Honorable Vice President of Bangladesh Basketball Federation and Convener of District Premier Division Basketball League Association and Executive Member of Rajshahi Divisional Sports Association was also present in the event.
Former basketball player and captain Rasheduzzaman Rashed was present as special guest. Presided over by Mominul Alam, Member Secretary District Premier Division Basketball League Association and officials and dignitaries of Rajshahi District Sports Association and District Basketball Coach Mr. Rakibul Islam.
The first match of the day was between Eaglets vs Pabapara. Eaglets collected 17 points and Poba Para 7 points, Eaglets scored 17 points and defeated Poba Para. In the extra game of the day, Bulls collected 15 points and Pabapara Fighters 7 points, and Bulls got 17 points and defeated Pabapara Fighters. The game is fair and well conducted.
