Baby girl killed by father’s servant in Bogra

Her seven-year-old daughter was killed by her father’s knife in Kahalu, Bogra. The incident took place at Sagatia Paschimpara village of Kahalu Municipal area on Tuesday at 8 am. After the incident, the child’s father said. Rahim Shah tries to run away from home. At that time the police of Kahalu police station arrested him. The arrested Rahim is the son of Malek of that village.

It is reported that the baby girl, Rahi Moni Kahalu, was a first class student of the Ibtedayi branch of Fazil Degree Madrasa. Father Rahim got angry about Rahi Moni’s studies in the morning and hit his daughter Rahi Moni who was sitting on the bed with a plastic bag containing a knife. The bag leaked and the knife hit Rahi Moni’s lower body. He died of serious injuries.

Rahim’s wife Rozifa said that the incident happened unexpectedly. Rahim earns his living by setting nets in ponds. Which is why he always has a small knife in his plastic bag to cut the net. She had no recollection of having a knife in the bag when she disciplined her daughter.
