Dhaka: Severe heat is going on all over the country. Public life has become miserable and disturbed.
In this scorching heat, the fire service and civil defense have arranged fresh water to bring relief to the common people of Dhaka city, pedestrians, rickshaw drivers and other professions.
On Wednesday (April 24), Talha bin Jaseem, the media cell officer of the fire service headquarters, gave this information.
This service is provided by installing 1800 liter water tanks in different places of Dhaka city from morning.
In front of the Dhaka City Secretariat, this program will continue from morning to evening in different places of Dhaka city including Road No. 5 of Dhanmondi. He also said that this program will continue as long as such intense heat continues.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director of Dhaka Division. Saleh Uddin said, those who are the least tired on the road can drink water from this tank. Two members will be stationed near the water tank for water distribution and maintenance from morning to evening.
He said, fire service and civil defense have the initiative to start this program in the whole country.
