In the future, Bangladesh’s Hajj management will be one of the smartest in the world: Religion Minister

Dhaka, April 24, 2024 (BSS): Minister of Religion Md. Faridul Haque Khan said that modern information technology has been introduced in Hajj management as a part of building a developed and prosperous Smart Bangladesh as per the Vision 2021 and 2041 announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He said, Hajj management has been digitized. We are adding new features to the related portal. Hajj management in Bangladesh will be one of the smartest Hajj management in the world in the coming days.
Faridul Haque Khan said this in the chief guest’s speech at the inauguration of Hajj Training 2024 in the conference room of Dhaka Hajj Office this morning.
Faridul Haque Khan said, today’s training is basically so that all of you can perform Hajj fast properly. We have selected highly skilled trainers for training. If you can be attentive to the training, then you will be able to master the rules of Hajj, the commandments, the series of formalities.
He said, the tendency of most of the people of our country is to perform Hajj at the end of life. Hajj is a very strenuous worship, physical fitness is not required for it. Not many people have that physical ability. Due to which it becomes very difficult for them to perform the rituals of Hajj.
He said, many people go to perform Hajj with the savings they have accumulated for a long time. Most of the people in this country do not have the financial means to perform Hajj a second time. For that reason, your hard work and money should not be wasted, but you must perform Hajj following the path of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Hajj should be performed correctly and cleanly.
Faridul Haque Khan said, your identity in Saudi Arabia is not just a pilgrim, your identity is a Bangladeshi. The image of Bangladesh will be revealed on foreign soil only through your behavior, speech and movement.
He called for vigilance to ensure that there is no deviation in the observance of the laws and regulations of Saudi Arabia.
Besides, he requested the pilgrims to be especially careful that the image and honor of the country should not be tarnished by anyone.
