The Meteorological Department has predicted a storm in this situation. According to Bangladesh Meteorological Office, the maximum speed of 60 km of storm over Sylhet is possible. What was reported?
Meteorologist Mohammad Omar Farooq said that gusty or gale force winds may blow over Sylhet district from west or north-west at a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour. Rain or thundershowers may also occur. This is stated in the warning issued for river ports.

Therefore, the river ports in those areas have been asked to show warning signal number 1. It is also reported that this warning will remain until 1 pm on Wednesday. On the other hand, meteorologist Bazlur Rashid said that there will be temporary partly cloudy skies in other areas of Bangladesh except Sylhet. Weather there will be mainly dry.

There will be discomfort
Although there are rains and cloudy skies in some areas, there is still no escape from the heat, said the weather office. They said that the temperature may rise slightly across the country. The temperature will remain almost unchanged at night as well as during the day. It is also warned that there may be discomfort due to excess water vapor. It has also been reported that the weather will be similar on Thursday as well.

The Met office did not give any good news about the temperature. The highest temperature of Bangladesh was recorded at Ishwardi in Pabna on Tuesday. The temperature there was 40.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum and minimum temperature in Dhaka was 38.4 and 28.2 degrees Celsius respectively. Also, the temperature was more than 40 degrees Celsius in various areas including Rajshahi, Khulna, Jessore. According to the weather forecast, the extension of the depression is over West Bengal and its surrounding areas.

Due to this, intense heat waves are flowing over Rajshahi, Pabna, Khulna, Bagerhat, Jessore and Patuakhali districts. A mild to moderate heat wave is moving over the rest of Dhaka, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions including Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Chandpur, Bandarban districts and Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions and may spread. On Wednesday, the day temperature will rise slightly and the heat wave may spread further.
