People are suffering from heat stroke due to continuous heat. The number of heat stroke patients is increasing in the hospital. Meanwhile, the news of death is increasing day by day. On the other hand, the country was under the grip of intense heat yesterday. In several parts of the country, very intense heat waves have swept through yesterday. According to the weather forecast, the overall temperature may rise across the country on Wednesday as well.

The country’s internal water sources have already started drying up due to weeks of continuous non-rainfall. The water of big rivers has also gone down due to the damming of neighboring countries upstream of the rivers. As a result, the role of water to cool the environment of Bangladesh is decreasing day by day. On the other hand, due to the increase in the concentration of water in the reservoir or in the soil, due to the presence of more bacteria than before in the little water, various types of stomach problems including diarrhea are increasing among people. Doctors have said that you should be careful with water at this time. Many people in Dhaka city drink water directly from wasar pipes without purifying the water. They should boil water and drink it at least during this time. If you can’t do that, drink purified water with water purification tablets. Failing that, the doctors told to drink pure water with fitkari. They say, if stomach pain occurs, it is very painful now.
Meteorologist Bajlur Rashid said that there is no possibility of any change in the current weather conditions before April 25. However, there may be some rain in Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chittagong divisions. But it will not improve the heat much. Yesterday Tuesday there was no rain anywhere in the country including these 3 divisions.

However, the Meteorological Department has warned that there may be temporary rain or thundershowers with gusty winds or stormy winds at two places in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions today on Wednesday. Intense heat flow is flowing over Rajshahi, Pabna, Khulna, Bagerhat, Jessore and Patuakhali districts. A mild to moderate heat wave is moving over the rest of Dhaka, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions along with Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Bandarban, Chandpur districts and Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions and may spread. Yesterday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at Ishwardi at 40.5 degrees Celsius.
Regarding heatstroke, doctors say, everyone should drink enough water. People with high blood pressure, especially the elderly, should avoid going out during the day. If you are forced to go out, you should take water with you, have an umbrella on your head, and wear loose clothing.

How to understand heatstroke? In response to this question, Dr. Syed Amirul Islam said that the heart rate may be faster than normal before heat stroke occurs. Rapid and heavy breathing may also occur. Heat stroke can be preceded by nausea due to headache, rapid heart rate and lack of oxygen from hyperventilation. People may feel irritable, become unnecessarily angry at someone, talk irrationally, and even become delirious before heatstroke due to excessive heat. Talk can get involved. The person may start speaking incoherently. Heatstroke can be preceded by muscle aches, although people often ignore this as a simple ache. Heatstroke can be preceded by weakness and fainting at the same time. Dr. Syed Amirul Islam also said that the overheated body works more than normal. Fatigue and more weakness may develop in the body.
Another symptom of heatstroke is not sweating even in extreme heat. If this is the case, it means that there is no water left in the body to sweat or the body’s natural cooling mechanism does not work.
Heat alert issued for 3 more days: Severe heatwave is sweeping over most of the country’s districts. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has again issued a 72-hour heat alert on Monday. Heat alert has been issued for the third consecutive time this month. Meteorologists believe that a new heat alert may be issued in the last week of April.
The temperature in Chuadanga district is between 40 and 42.3 degrees. And the maximum temperature recorded in Dhaka yesterday was 40.4 degrees Celsius.
Recommendation for sprinkling water on roads: The parliamentary committee has recommended regular sprinkling of water on roads to keep the weather cool during heat wave. At the same time, the committee asked to provide saline and clean water to the people at the upazila level.

According to Khulna Bureau, an unidentified person (60) died of heatstroke in Khulna. He died in front of Khulna Regional Cancer Hospital and Research Institute in Aranghata Police Station area of ​​the city yesterday around 4:30 pm.
Hasan Al Mamun, officer-in-charge of Arangghata police station, said that the person had been a vagrant in Arangghata area for several days. No one knows his identity. He said, initially it is believed that he died of heatstroke.

A policeman named Mohammad Shah-Alam (50) died of heatstroke in Baufal, Patuakhali. He was working in Dhaka Police Intelligence Branch. Baufal Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Prashant Kumar Saha confirmed that he suffered a stroke due to heart disease before.
According to his family, he came from Dhaka to Baufal village last Saturday. He suddenly fell ill last Monday night. When he was taken to Baufal Hospital in an ill condition, the doctors said that he suffered a stroke. Later, when the condition worsened, he was sent to Barisal from there. He died in the night while undergoing treatment at Barisal Sherebangla Medical College Hospital.
Jamalpur representative said that a chilli trader named Golam Rabbani died of heatstroke in Jamalpur’s Islampur. The incident took place at Foliamari village of Chinaduli Union of the upazila at around 11 o’clock on Tuesday. Ghulam Rabbani suddenly fell ill in extreme heat.

He is said to be the son of Md. Mohr of Folimari village and a pepper merchant of Guthail Bazar.

Mojibur Rahman son of Alfaz Uddin of Nizam Haji’s house of Jagatpur village of the same upazila went to work at the house of businessman Md. Ruhul Amin of Burichong Upazila Sadar of Comilla yesterday at 9 am. Heatstroke while cutting building beige. Locals rescued him and took him to Burichong Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared him dead.
A representative of Natore said that a farmer died while working on the agricultural land in Baraigram of Natore. He died at Satil Bill of Chandai Union of Upazila around 12:30 pm on Tuesday. The deceased farmer’s name is Bakul Hossain (30). He is the son of Abdur Rahim of Garfa Uttarpara village.

Local GP Asaduzzaman Ranju said that Bakul Hossain was working in the agricultural land since morning. Unable to bear the intense heat, he tried to go to the nearby reservoir.
