98 percent people don’t want data period on mobile

There are various types of data packages for mobile internet usage. 98 percent people do not want any term in these packages. An opinion poll on Kalbela’s website has revealed such results. (Link to Opinion Survey)

Kalbela Online started an opinion poll from last Sunday (April 21) on whether mobile data should have a validity period or not. About 68 thousand people gave their opinion till 3 pm on Tuesday (April 23).

According to Kalbela’s opinion survey, BTRC is conducting a survey on mobile internet data packages. But many are in favor of withdrawing data expiry. What do you think? There are two answers to this question. First, should the data package have an expiration date? Second, the data package should not have an expiration date. More than 97 percent of the people supported the second answer here. And 2.34 percent of the people have given their opinion in favor of the validity of the data package.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission or BTRC is surveying the data period in mobile internet packages. BTRC started this survey from last Saturday (April 20). Four views have been retained from BTRC to provide feedback on the survey. Choose any one of them.

According to the survey of BTRC launched under the title of customer opinion survey on data packages of mobile operators, the guidelines-2023 regarding data and data related packages of mobile phone operators have been formulated by BTRC last October 2023. Where the duration of the data package is 7 days, 30 days and unlimited respectively. Mobile operators need to take public opinion of customers to take feedback on data packages of different durations. A Google Form has been launched to participate in the public opinion poll.

There are four responses from BTRC regarding the views on what should be the duration of the data package. A choice must be made. They are – one. 7 days, 30 days and unlimited, two. 3 days, 7 days, 30 days and unlimited, three. 3 days, 7 days, 15 days, 30 days and unlimited and number four says other if any.
