Dhaka: Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Dhaka on a two-day visit. He reached Dhaka on Monday (April 22) afternoon.

It is known that Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his tour companions arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a special flight at 5 pm.

President Mohammad Sahabuddin welcomed him at the airport. At this time, the Emir of Qatar was given a red carpet reception and a guard of honour.

During Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani’s visit, 11 agreements and understandings will be signed between Bangladesh and Qatar.

Amir is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban on Tuesday (April 23) morning. Agreements and agreements will be signed at this time. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will meet with President Mohammad Sahabuddin at Bangabhaban at noon.

In honor of the Emir of Qatar, the park to be built in Mirpur’s Kalshi Balur field under Dhaka North City Corporation and the road from Mirpur ECB Square to Kalshi Udal Bridge will be named. Tomorrow he himself will inaugurate this park and road.

After the visit, the Emir of Qatar will leave Dhaka for Nepal on Tuesday evening.

It should be noted that in 2005, the then Emir of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani came to Bangladesh. After almost twenty years, the current Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is visiting Bangladesh.
