Representative of Malaysia:
This is the first Bangladeshi unique band’s journey to entertain Malaysian expatriates in the capital Kuala Lumpur.
Live Musical Fiesta-2024 was held on Saturday (April 20) evening at the ballroom of Hotel Solil in the capital Kuala Lumpur.
Sufi Abdullahil Maruf, First Secretary (Press) of Bangladesh High Commission was the chief guest at the opening ceremony conducted by Bangladeshi PhD scholar Leorna Chowdhury studying in Malaysia. His wife Mala Khandkar was also present at that time.
Unique band’s managing director key boardist and lead vocalist performed music at the event. Zahirul Islam, Lead Vocalist Mosharraf Hossain, Lead Vocalist Leorna Chowdhury, Lead Vocalist Abu Hanif, Lead Vocalist Ikra Sultana Iti, Lead Guitarist and Vocalist AB Tauhid, Baize Guitarist and Vocalist Saif Rajeev, Team Mentor and Drummer Kamruzzaman Manik, Drummer Abdur Rahman.
Professor Dr. Uni KL University Cardio Department was present at the event. Emdadul Haque, Bangladesh’s famous dramatist and reciter Arman Parvez Murad. Prominent businessmen Datu Seri Kamruzzaman Kamal, Datu Abdur Rauf, Sakhawat Hossain Joseph were present on behalf of the Malaysian diaspora Bangladeshi community.
Bangladesh community leader Md. was also present. Manju Kha, Emdadul Haque Sabuj, Ramzan Ali, Jasim Uddin, Moniruzzaman Monir, Md. Russell, students from various universities and expatriate professionals including Bangladeshi print and electronic media journalists in Malaysia.
The presence of all expatriates at the opening ceremony of Unique Band was like a part of Bangladesh in Kuala Lumpur. PhD Scholar Leorna Chowdhury expressed her gratitude to all the expatriate Bangladeshis for successfully completing the event.
